Divine Democracy

The deception of majority rule

Despite their endless political debates, the world’s democracies are unanimous on one issue: their claim to be Christian nations. And since the Western world’s political systems were established according to so-called Judeo/Christian traditions, the vast majority of its people have come to believe that democracy is synonymous with divinity.

America and Europe are therefore laboring under the mistaken notion that democracy is the chosen political system of our heavenly Father.

What's really troubling is that even the majority of those who are fervent defenders of the faith are also fervent supporters of government by majority rule. They speak of the "freedom" of having the right to vote – to choose their own leaders. To Greco-Romanized so-called Christians, spreading democracy is virtually the same as spreading the Gospel. The scriptures however, don't support the concept of democracy as the revealed form of divine governance. After all, even though King David was the popular choice of the elders of Israel, he was not voted into the office of king. He was chosen and anointed by the Most High.

In Western politics, the number one requirement for being successful (apart from a willingness to raise preposterous sums of money) is to be as popular among as large a number of people as possible. But Christ Himself said "Woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets" (Luke 6:26).

He also taught us that the majority opinion would always be wrong; saying "...wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat..." (Matt. 7:13). As a matter of truth, the scriptures are replete with instances of the Hebrew Israelite majority rejecting the very prophets of YHWH and their divinely inspired interpretations of the Law!

As the faithful remnant of Israel, we must know that Christ is not an elected official. He is neither a democrat nor a republican, and therefore doesn't operate according to the principles of democracy. Christ is King of kings – the royal head of a theocratic monarchy.

For the emerging Israelite nation to flourish, we must fully function in accordance with Kingdom principles, and not democracy; knowing that YHWH has anointed His divinely elected royal priesthood to rule under the headship of Christ. And just as our fathers had a king under YHWH in ancient Israel, we will have a king under Christ in modern Israel.

Beloved brethren, be not deceived. The world will offer it's counterfeit leaders through the
deception of democracy. But we must organize the emerging government of true Israel around the royal house, and operate according to the divine principles of Kingdom order!

Shalom Aleichem!
