The voice of him that cries in the wilderness; prepare the way of YHWH, and make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim.
- YeshaYahu [Isaiah] 40:3 |
|
Those of us who constitute the faithful remnant in Y'shua have been blessed with the extraordinary privilege of being called to the Kingdom for such a time as this...
For some seventeen centuries, the holy nation has languished under the oppressive regime of "Churchianity" - the Greco-Roman pseudo-Christian ritualism emanating from the Vatican and her wayward Protestant daughters. The original church government of YHWH and Y'shua through the house of David has long since been subverted, discredited and usurped, leaving the faithful remnant in a state of utter confusion.
Sadly, the church according to Christ has been forsaken, and replaced with a heresy laced pseudo-Christianity based upon worldly business practices and the religious traditions of men. Deception and greed abounds.
But as it is written, where sin abounds, grace does much more abound!
The Tanakh (OT) closes with the following words: "Behold, I will send you EliYahu (Elijah) the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAH: and He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Mal. 4:5,6).
Some four-hundred years after that prophecy was uttered, and a full nine-hundred years after the ministry of EliYahu, Yehochanan (John the Baptist) came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, crying "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Y'shua Himself bore witness that this was a spiritual fulfillment of the prophecy of Malachi, revealing that "...all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you will receive it, this is Elijah which was to come." (MattitYahu [Matt.] 11:13,14). ZecarYahu (Zacharias), the father of John the Baptist, was told by an angel that he would have a son who would go before YAH "...in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children... ."
